Nokia 1 may be launched in March as part of the Android Go program


Unveiled back in May, Google's Android Go is meant for emerging markets where people barely afford a budget-friendly smartphone. Android Go is supposed to make wonders in places where network coverage is scarce and mobile data is expensive.

Many smartphone companies promised to support Google's initiative to launch a lightweight version of its Android operating system, including Finnish company HMD Global.
